My website fell to 40th page, is it because it's over optimized?

Hello, I hope this post won't be deleted but I understand if it does.

It's just I am frustrated with one of my adult projects and I need some advice on the on page SEO, if my site is over optimized or not.

My index page felt from 3rd place to page 40 and I can't seem to figure out why.

The url contains light adult stuff, so this is a warning: adultmaturecams.com

Ty very much

Some scary people you have on there! haha. Anyway, the problem is there's absolutely no content whatsoever. You can't expect to rank on page one with no content, Google's human visitors troll page 1 and if there are 40 pages worth of sites better than yours (probably with content) then they'll drop you.

Best thing to do, is take your main keywords and do a Google search (without being logged into a google account), click on the top 3-4 results and look at the difference. What do they have that you don't?

Pornhub, youporn, youjizz - all top porn domains on Google and yet none of them has any written content. I don't think that's the case.

Google always discourage porn or nude websites. try out this it might helps you. Add some content of your related keyword. do its better on page seo than after of page seo. other wise of page seo is nothing without on page.

There could be multiple reasons for this, over optimization is the most obvious one.

Ty for your answer very much. This is the problem, my main competitors have much less content, even under 100 words, others are total duplicate sites and they have density for their keywords more than even 20%. Take a look at "mature cams" and see. So i read and read and analyzed and I cannot figure it out. Why did I drop from 3rd place?
This happened about 6 months back, dropped and regained after 2 months I believe. I am begining to think everything is random

You are completely wrong about this. Google the word "porn". That is one of the most competitive keywords you will find. Three of the top four sites have basically no content.

You can find that throughout the porn industry.

I would say the site is fairly new, in a competitive niche (although I'm not sure which keywords you are targeting, but in that industry almost all of them are competitive), and you are going to need a ton more links. I'm assuming "mature cams" is one of your keywords. Your number one competitor is hovering around 9.8 million links from almost 1800 domains.

This might be occurred for over SEO'd of your website. Or, You might be still using Black-Hat-SEO techniques. If you are, then you need to know that Black-Hat-SEO is already DEAD by Google Penguin Updates. Only using White-Hat-SEO techniques can reach your website to the top and obviously, you contents must be very good.

Content is King as it has always been

Try adding some text even if it is at the bottom of the pages so it does not get read by the users as the search engines will pick up on this. I make sure i have at least 500 words on each page to get it ranked. I know some people have a minimum of 1000+

    Best of luck

But if you thinks it might be over optimization the best thing to do is remove the optimization and resbumit your website.... Maybe? I'm not sure how they feel about mature cam girls

It is possible that you are over-optimized your website. Check your keywords for keyword density - this is one of the biggest problems for your content.

Google also ranks MANY websites with no content at all very high, especially after Penguin update.

Well, it is not only your on page, but your off page, too. Hard to say the exact reason, but look at to different factors like the anchor text variation, hidden text etc. and analyze it.

Just keep adding content and you should start to rank for some long tail keywords first and then eventually main keywords. Content is King.

Currently my mentor actually has figured out much of Penguin. She is top ten for keywords with over 250,000 exact monthly searches. The big thing about this update is the synonyms. If you have many keywords like this on your website and are targeting about 30 in your niche you will do fine.

Matt Laclear currently has a service that creates links for up to 25 keywords you can take advantage of if you want to fast track your success.

The other major thing about Penguin is your backlink profile diversity. It is now an absolute requirement that you have keywords such as click here, homepage, visit us, check it out etc. Along with about 30% your main keyword.

    best of luck!

I have heard a lot of advice lately from people I trust very well that it is a good idea to disable Google Web Master Tools and Analytics. While I have not tried this yet. If you are planning on doing any heavy backlinking it is probably best to do this.

On page content has a lot to do with whether your website will make any money and how long users will stay on your website. However as Google still just uses an algorithm I still think it is incapable of checking whether a site has "quality" content. Now manual review that is a whole other story.

That is silly. The only additional information you are giving to Google by having Analytics is the bounce rate. Everything else, they know. If you are doing heavy backlinking, they know that, wheter you are using GA and WMT or not.

The only advice I would give is to not use the same GA or WMT accounts for more than one website. If they decide they don't like something about one of your websites, they could decide to take action against all of your websites tied to the same account.

The thing is, i took off google analytics off 35 of my sites and all the sites serps increased without doing a single thing.

I did this as a test due to someone else doing the same.

I now use "get clicky" and my sites are ranking best i've ever had them. without extra backlinking.

Were they all under the same account or did you have 35 separate Analytics accounts?

I have heard of this happening as well before. Matt Laclear has on his sales page for the article drip service that it is highly recommended you disable GWT to maximize his services potential. He is not the only marketer I trust that I have heard warn against giving Google more information about your site than you need to.

Personally I always felt like you would have a better chance of ranking by telling Google my site is valuable enough that I am not keeping it secret. However there are many opinions on this issue. I was simply stating for those who have lost substantial rankings it was worth a try.

Try to target users directly. Since your website is lack of content, you can add some and target users who love that kinds of stuffs. Again, just allow the power of viral sharing to do its job.

IMO, you should forget first how to get your site back in ranking for a while and set your mind on real users of search engines. Target them directly and let them spread your website throughout the internet.

Google recently updated it's Penguin Algorithm. So it happened to many webmasters. Don't optimize your site with exact match anchor texts with your keywords. Try to put anchor texts like click here, visit site or simply putting URL.

The thing is, yes your site has very little content, but those kind of sites aren't built for reading content. Therefore it could be a number of factors. I've found therecent google update to devalue bad links pointing to yours ite. It could be that your links are not valued enough by google.

It could be that you've recently made some changes to the site, added new design etc.. you have to go back through the last steps you did for your site and try and figure out what changes you made or what backlinking you did, and then you'll find your problem.

It could also just be a temporary change.
