I've tried outsourcing Adwords before with mediocre results.

Please pass along any recommendations you have for doing this.

Right now in my PPC markets, I'm not losing money, but I know I could be doing much better because others in my market are.

Thanks for any advice.

I outsource my Adwords campaign to my Adwords Representative

Just ask them to create a campaign for you. They will do everything for you, include providing the keywords.
From there you could learn from the campaign itself, which are created by the Adwords Experts.

You could learn about a good Adwords campaign in short time, without need to spending a lot of money.

      Hey David,

That's interesting. Did you say to them you were new and you needed help getting started so asked to create a campaign? Or did you just say "Would you please create a campaign for my offer" and they did?

      Thanks

I think Google will do this only on new accounts, although I'm not 100% sure. However, I've had a few clients that have had this done and the resulting campaign was poor to fair at best. Doesn't mean because they work at Google that they know what they're doing. Remember these are not professional Adwords managers. They've probably been given a half day course and being paid minimum wage. The last client who had this done by a Google Rep, it was so bad, I immediately was able to bring the CPC down by half and over the next few weeks, down another 10%. The sales increased by a factor of 12 too.

You may learn from it, although I recommend to continue learning and more important, testing. Unfortunately, most people just let it run thinking Google should know what they're doing without realizing they may be paying more than they should.
