Build My Rank---Still OK Because of Google Penguin?

I was wondering if using Build My rank is still ok to use? I heard on smartpassiveincome.com that they are not going to be using the service and a lot of there sites aren't indexed anymore but i went to the site it is still there and running? Wondering if this is true?

    Where have you been? BMR was closed long before Penguin hit.

    Penguin isn't integrated. They'll re-run it ever so often to catch new sites which are engaging in obviously manipulative tactics.

    If you want to rely on Google traffic, you should probably avoid all public blog networks and other spammy techniques like your sig for instance. What's the point of linking twice to the same url with two different anchor text. Google considers only the first one on the page.

    Yes you are late on news, BMR already bankrupt, all their blog networks were deindexed and they refund all of their customers. Almost all blog networks have the same issues, it's time to find new strategy to build better rank.

    Yeah but what other ways besides blog commenting, forum posting, and article marketing i doubt all the people on 1st page of google rely on this alone...or maybe they do i dunno. Thanks for the tip on the anchor texts didnt know...I feel like ill never get this crap.

    BMR is closed, but some other private blog networks are trying to survive by creating new blogs and convincing their customers to point links to their backlinks. I'm curious to see how that strategy is going to work or if it's just waste of time. Time will show.
