Yes, I know PR isn't everything, but I'm just curious: what's the highest PR you received after 3 month on working on a new site. Just trying to see where I stack up.

In other words, assuming Google updates their PR, what would you guys consider to be a good PR after 3 months for a new site?

Just 1 "high PR" backlink can boost your own PR pretty quickly.

PR isn't THAT hard to obtain. It just takes backlinks. And it's not the be-all-end-all when it comes to rankings.

Right, I understand. I prefaced my post with that. I was just curious in case I want to sell my site one day

You can get PR 4 with 1 PR 5 and 5 PR 4 links. If you're lucky about your timing, it can happen quick. It's merely a matter of when Google updates PR.

Damn you guys are good! Here I thought I was all smooth getting a PR2 in 3 months. I suppose it's worth noting that I have never payed for a link or any other SEO service. How do you get such powerful links with an unknown site without paying for it?

I've had page rank 1 for over a year but I NEVER maintain my website.

I started doing it again and its pretty much PR1 in 1 week TBH but I had an old domain but then again I never posted any BL so nothing could find my site.

My 60 days old site got PR 3 after PR updates in January/February. I only use ALN for this site.

PR drop now into PR 1

I think PR3 is about right for three months of creating quality backlinks and posting unique contents. But I've seen some websites getting PR of 6,7,8,9, or even a PR of 10 within three months time. However, it was obvious that these high PR were totally fake and their PR most likely disappeared after getting hit by the recent penguin update.
