Hi Everyone, i am new seo.My site is esaledeal.com
For the half a year, my site Alexa rank have been 2,100,000 still, i have make lot of backlinks and post artical to some blogs and bookmarks,
There are a lot of SEO expert here,would please tell me what should i do to improve my site Alexa rank ? Thanks a lot .

Focus on alexa rank is nothing more than a time waste. its easy to manipulate with fake traffic generator softwares with proxies.

Alexa and google ranking are two different things. increase in Alexa rank doesn't effect on google rank. i suggest you to focus on Backlink building rather than alexa rank.

I agree with the programmer. Not to mention banging on about alexa rank on your blog or site would make you look needy and desperate. Just make good content, good on page seo and high quality backlinks. Those are much better time spent than trying to raise your rank with an inaccurate web stats site.

It makes no sense to me either. Why would you want to focus on increasing alexa rank when its only a web stats site. And a very bad webstats site as well. Maybe it was once good but not anymore. SEO increases SERPs which in turn increases alexa rank (if you really need to flex your e-peen and brag about a high rank which most people wont even care about). He's focusing on doing things backwards TBH.

I think Onsite SEO is very important. My websites Alexa rank was in the 12 million, after a couple of hours doing on-site SEO, just checked my Alexa ranking and it is ranked on 8 million. A 4 million leap. A lot of site seem to dismiss Onpage SEO.

Give the op a break well to some people Alexa stats is very important I know some people that got their sites to below 50k oin Alexa then went on to sell their sites for a nice chunk of cash.

There,s a lot of secrets that us internet business owners do not want to reveal to others but instead of giving bad advice to people saying things.

Well I know alot of advertisers that wants to advertise what they looking for are Alexa rankings and incoming traffic.

To improve the Alexa rank you need to increase the traffic to your website. Because Alexa rank is purely based on traffic to your website.

Don't worry about it.

Your alexa rank will only go up when more people with the alexa tool bar visit your site (the average is over a 3 month period last time I checked).

But unless you've got a really high alexa rank it's really inaccurate anyway ..

Although it is sometimes taken into account as another metric people look at when purchasing advertisement spots and purchasing websites ..
