I don't get this.

For some keywords that I type into google adsense I see that the click is like $20.00 and the competition is high.

So with that being said....

Why doesn't someone just make a site based around that (Blog), make videos on youtube to get some people to the site (If the person even clicked on the youtube video that means it was targeted traffic because they wanted to know more about that specific keyword).

From a few keywords I've searched, its more than 2,000 a month so its not like there won't be any clicking from just have #1 on google. The main source of traffic would be from youtube too.

And if that doesn't work, why not advertise around your community? If you got 1 person to click your ad wouldn't that pay your like 60% of the $20 = $10-$15 per click?

Why have I not seen this o_O

If you could bring only 1 click for the day (Way too exaggerated; should be more) EVERY OTHER DAY wouldn't that bring you like $150-$200 a month for a $20 CPC?

I also researched that there are much higher CPC $50.00+.

If its just 1 click a day for 30 days wouldn't that be like $1,500 a month?

Something must be wrong...

I doubt you'll get many $20 clicks (If any).

Look at the Contextual Tool & compare the CPC to the same keyword on the Keyword Tool, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I see that its not the same; $6.30

      But isn't 1 click a day at $6.30 for 365 days still alot? $2200

What if you set up 10 blogs? Isn't that like $20k after taxes?

Now take that $6.30 & divide it by 2 ($6.30 / 2 = $3.15), that rough estimate of 50% is Googles cut of the money.

That $3.15 is still a rough estimate, but it's a lot closer than the numbers you'll get on the Keyword Tool.

Keep in mind that $3.15 isn't a guaranteed payout per click, Adwords is an auction based bidding system & depends on how much competition that keyword has in Adwords, which fluctuates non-stop. Then you have quality scores on Adwords which can have a lower bidder ranking #1 in your Ad group.

You also have traffic coming into the site with browser history enabled, Google looks at browser history for Adsense. You can tweak the Adsense Admin a little to try & prevent Adsense Ads from being displayed on your pages based on browser history, but it's not guaranteed.

You still have to figure in your CTR percentage, which If you get anything around 10% your doing really good.

Adsense has a lot of variables.

As you can see, you've went from $20 down to $3.15, on a good day.

Because users aren't going to click on ads unless those ads are relevant to them.

And you aren't going to get a community of people who are all interested in a topic with a $5CPC without spending quite a bit of money yourself.
