hi how long does it take to get your page a pr2 normally?

I have a site of mine I jst checked and it has a pr2 its domain registered on 20th of april. It just has some links from blog commenting and tumblr but it is rich with social media and youtube videos. Do you think that is why?

I've checked with different browsers and a page rank checker.

Google updated pageranks on May 2012 (if i remember right) and as you made some backlinks for your site from dofollow high pagerank sites and pages, your pagerank increased and its natural and true.

PR2/3 is a pretty standard rank to have on your site. If you've got some links coming in from decent pr links and good content on your homepage and throughout the site, your more or less bound to end up with that PR come the next update.

PR 2 is a rather standard PR to have even for aa new site, but 5 weeks is rather fast, well done.

Social bookmarks tend to pass on a lot of PR if done right, but basically as mentioned above, PR is passed through dofollow backlinks from other high PR webpages.

Ah ok I see that sheds some light on it suppose I was just lucky with the timing then. So does google release its schedule. I've seen a few sites release expected dates but nothing official from google themselves. And can you jump from 1 to 3 etc or do you go up in a systematic order, 0-1-2-3 etc
