Few questions I have about SEO

1) Is 25 cents a click average for google adsense? (I get 24 cents/click)

2) I created my blog about 3 days ago; can I start pinging my site everywhere now or should I wait?

3) People talk about leaving BL in places with high page rank; where do I find sites like that? I've heard that there are AA do follow blogs with high page rank (Filled with spam obviously); how does one find something like that?

4) Besides creating quality content (Which I already have) how does one rank on google for their keyword?

5) What should I always do for new websites? (Pinging, submitting to search engines?)

    1, There is no average click for Adsense, it's an auction bidding system
    2, Do what you want, it's a Free world..
    3, Nobody is going to tell you that, you need to find out for yourself
    4, Create more quality content
    5, Submit your sitemap to GWT and Digg it

    1. That's pretty good CPC. Some people get a lot higher than that, but you could also get quite a bit lower (some people get 5 cents a click!)

    2. You could, but pinging doesn't help all that much. Building links will get your site indexed faster than pinging it.

    3. Don't use those kind of backlinks. Links from spam blogs can actually hurt your rankings. Google could penalize you.

    4. Build quality backlinks to your website.

    5. Always use original content on your website, and build quality backlinks to your site.

    Building backlinks from web 2.0 posts would be a great start. I would suggest using an application like senuke to post them automatically and then take some time to post some manually. My company creates manual and automatic web 2.0 links and it works extremely well.

    Stay far away from blog comment spam and "high pr" forum profiles, they won't help you.

    Alot of people say use quality content for your website but no stresses the importance of using quality content for your backlinks. If you want them to count, you absolutely have to use quality content when posting on various web 2.0 blogs.

    So you are either going to pay with your time or your money. But you can get ahead of alot of people if you don't take shortcuts. Thats what 90% of everybody is doing. But it doesnt work.

    1. The cost per click depends on the ad that is being displayed and the ad visible on your blog depends on the content of your site.
    2. You can start pinging only after you have significant posts on your blog.
    3. Google the blogs related to your niche. The ones appearing in the top results will obviously have high pr
    4. You need to create BL with anchor text as the keyword.
    5. Dump more and more content in a new site and then ping it.
