Page 1, but visitor stats low

Hi, I'm on page 1 of Google for some search terms (thank a million to Matt LaClear - tried linking to his offer, but I've not posted enough).
According to Google, my keyword gets 823k local searches a month, but I'm getting less than 10 visitors a day. I think my site description is appealing in Google and I can't see a reason why people wouldn't be clicking on the link.
I'm beginning to wonder if the Google stats are made up (to get people advertising)! I'm on page 1 for a few different sites (all with high searches according to Google) and yet my visitor numbers are terrible.
My conversion rate is high, once people do visit the site, so I don't think it's the sites themselves.
Any ideas? Cheers.

    1. Make sure that we are talking about 823k exact match searches. Somehow I don't think we are.

    2. That's just the way it goes when you focus on search engine traffic sometimes .

    3. Ask SEO questions in the SEO subforum.

Two areas that you can check are:

    1. Keyword density on the pages and posts of your website.

    2. How have the backlinks to your site been built?

Hello! Try changing somethings like your site's home page layout. Or you can add more interesting contents to your site with unique and interesting titles. You can upgrade it as often as you can and write unique write-ups for it. Best of Luck!

Try changing your site name, and make it so the site looks like it offers a lot of value, and entices the people to click on it.

You are looking at broad search results. You need to check the exact search results. I'll bet the result is MUCH lower.

First when you check in google tool, is this stats an exact match? That makes different. But for a 823k, even if its broad also will not only give you 10 visitor only.

For the keywords that you rank, is it the exact match meaning word by word? Or you have add in some other words to the keywords?

Another area that you may check is your meta tag and meta description that will show up on the search engine. It has to be clear for people to know what you have in your site at the first glance.

You probably can install google analytics to understand also how did you get your visitor to your site. And what are the keywords that they use making them to land on your site.

The first thing you should do is add your site to Google's webmaster tool, after that leave it for a week or two ( I suggest a month), after a week you will see how many impressions you are getting for that keyword, if you see alot of impressions that means that there are visitors but they don't click on u r link because they are not interested or you are not ranking high on page 1

Remember that alot of times the top 3 sites get the most visits which is not always true but it kind of makes sense..now if you don't see alot of impressions then it means the Google KW tool was not accurate, as I said testing for a month will give you a close idea on how much people are searching for that keyword.

Impressions mean how many times your site was showed to people in the search engine.
