Publisher Id Penalty?

Is there such a thing as a publisher ID penalty? As in any site using that publisher Id getting a penalty?

I had a number of sites get deindexed recently for what it said were 'quality issues'. I will admit most of these sites did have a lot of low quality content on them. But not all the sites got deindexed. I can see the pattern in the ones that did get deindexed.

So now I'm nervous for the other sites using the same publisher id. I'm wondering if these will get penalties as a result, or if my account might get cancelled completely.

I never did any link building to these sites. I think what happened is the source I was getting content from was upset with me about my sites and reported all my sites as blog spam.

    I think we're all getting a little too paranoid, which is exactly what Google wants. Just make sure your content across all of your sites is quality content and you're diversifying your backlinks / anchor text.
