Guys, I really need some help on monetise my websites proper. I new SEO, started in January and Made $0.00 until now.

Currently I have two main website on page 1 and two which are ranking extremely well in google.

Page1 & Position #2.

Searches per-month for U.S: 2,900

It is a six pack abs website promoting truth about abs and NO Sale.

I am wondering if I should just upload my CTR theme and turn it into adsense website.

I need to start making some money to expand and pay my bills (hosting, rent and buy a labtop etc.)

Please give me your best advice.

Regards,
Everton

I don't understand your question. If your site on first page what are you waitting to add your adsense on? You say you have made 0$ , if you didn't add any monetization method on your site what did you expected?

I have adsense on my website already but I don't over do it (Only Two ads one on widget and one at the end of the post.) because it's an affiliate marketing website promoting the truth about abs.
So I am asking it you guys agree with me just add a CTR theme and turning the site into a more adsense earning type website.

Guys just post your comments (I will be back shortly....)

    Hi Everton,

is that 2900 exact searches? If it is broad searches, exact search number is significantly lower.

Conversions are also depended on your key phrase. For example, key phrase "truth about abs program" would get much better conversions than key phrase "six pack abs". Naturally, because people who are searching for the first phrase are already familiar with the program and clearly interested in it.

Are you capturing emails and following up with an autoresponder sequence? Generally, Clickbank style products like the one you are promoting convert best with a strong followup sequence versus a cold sell on first visit.

With a 2900 exact search term, and #2 position in SERP's, you should be seeing enough traffic from main keyword and secondary keywords to build a list and convert buyers.

However, it is always good to experiment with different monetization strategies, so it can't hurt to try Adsense if you want to see how that goes and it may work well. But if you want to keep trying the higher commission product you are using now, think about getting an autoresponder and followup sequence going.

Hi, this setup works well for me, but you can try experimenting. Sometimes I like to change it up alittle, so when a users loads an internal page the setup will be different, maybe with 2 blocks underneath the post, or sometimes one above and one below - instead of in the content and sidebar, it really depends on the type of site, every site is different so you need to test.

You don't need to use the CTR theme, in fact I would say don't use it, but change your theme, it looks horrible, just pick a theme that looks half decent, has got a right sidebar and use advertising manger to place the ads.

You have a half decent domain, why the hell are you blogging about "make money online"? when you can't make money online yourself? sod that for a game of soliders! review real tangible products, smartphones, laptops, gadgets and gismos, make it more commercial with paying customers and then people might click your ads more instead of finding the next BS online opportunity! I hate these websites, they're ****, just being honest...

Oh The Free Review is just one of my websites, haven't decide what I will do it yet. But thanks for the suggestion.

but for the six pack abs website I am consider removing some of the information on my homepage to give the reader a quick read....

The theme is the normal wordpress theme with some style all my website uses this theme...

I hate websites like these too.

And dmtaylor247 thanks for the recommend advertisement placement...

I would stay as far away from the make money online niche as possible. When people open up your website they should be looking at a premium wordpress theme that looks amazing.

You need to make them feel they can trust you with their credit card information. When they see a make money online site or a blue adsense ctr theme they probably close the site in horror and report it as spam to Google... or if they don't Google's manual review team will.

I honestly don't know why you're not getting clicks for a weight loss site, it's one of the clickiest niches there is. Just add more content like "lose weight in 60 days" sort of thing to get the right advertisers up, test the content more...

The ProReviewTheme is Pretty decent, I get around 6% CTR when set up right..

Thanks bro, I think I might have too much information on the homepage and will try out one of those auto responder software...

Are you targeting the right keywords?
"truth about abs" is one of the hot selling product, so it should sell well if your site is getting targeted visitors. Is your site content okay? What is the bounce rate?

If your site is not providing any value to the users they will leave your site in no time instead of clicking your hoplink. You should provide some valuable content to users so they will be interested to read your content and might click your hoplink if it is positioned correctly. Sticking in just one keyword is a bad idea...(keep in mind: Not every keyword will convert. You should find the right keywords for your product). find some highly relevant low competition long tail keywords and promote them. The search volume may be lower..but they will convert better. Hope this helps..
