Hi,

I am trying to buy a few domains with PR using godaddy auctions, but I am clueless. I mean, I have figured out some basics about checking for fake page rank, checking backlins and so on. But, I need some help in ensuring I get a pr domain that is not going to lose its PR the day after I get it (I know that there is no guaranty that a pr domain will keep it fervor, but I just want to make sure I dont miss the obvious signs).

Here are my questions that I would really appricte those of you who actually do buy PR domains, could help me with.

I check for faked PR using site:info on Google.

But most sites that even pass the test, do not show any (or very few) backlinks when checked using different tools like Google, blekko or ehrefs.

What are the things that you check first to ensure you dont get screwed? For example, do you check domain age, how many times its been dropped and etc?

Also, is there any difference (seo wise) between a dropped domain, or an expired domain or a deleted domain? Which one is the best if you are trying to buy a domain that will keep its PR?

I would appricte it if anyone with experience could explain the steps and basically what kind of data should be checked to ensure buying a genuine pr domain that has a higher chance of keeping its pr.

Thank you very much in advance.
