Buying backlinks from Fiverr...

I was thinking on buying backlinks from Fiverr. I know most of these gig's are not worth it, but some of them caught my eye, and I was thinking of ordering a few.

What would you suggest? Did anyone had any experience with this?

I don't think getting backlinks from Fiverr is such a good idea. You get what you pay for. Look around these forums and you will get way better service than backlinks from Fiverr .

Use a test site to try them out.

I've had a huge amount of success with backlinks on fiverr but remember to diversify and not just go for one type of link.

Fiverr is a great place to outsource your SEO to just pick and choose wisely.

Don't do it, because you don't know where these links are going. I bought a backlinks gig for a test site a while ago and as it turned out most of the links went to spammy sites with tons of other backlinks already on them. Most social bookmarking gigs are okay, but ultimately I'd rather do the backlinking myself and know where the links are going than to have someone else do it and get my site penalized for it.

Not all fiver gigs are equal, thus you will find some gems in the rough there as well. It s a matter of doing the due diligence. I recommend getting in touch with the gig provider and understanding the sources of the links they intend to provide you. If the answer sounds convincing it may be worth a try. Also look for their feedback and comments from other buyers, though I would not bet heavily on that in these days of Pandas and Penguins.

      Hope that helps

Stick to 10-20 social bookmark gigs, make sure they are done manually and you'll be ok.

I got nervous just looking at that gig, I wouldn't even think about using that.

The reason it has positive reviews is because the people that ordered it have no idea what they are doing. I know for sure that they don't know what they are doing because they ordered that gig. Get it?

Nicely said Never thought of it in that way. You might just have a point here.

This is changing the whole picture in my eyes.

I suggest you try. Some gigs are really good there. And it is cheap. You might be lucky to find a good gig. I like fiverr.

That looks dangerous.... It is done with xrumer I myself would be skeptical to do it on any of my websites.

But how come all the people, and I mean ALL have given positive feedback... Could they all be SEO noobs or what...

To be honest, I am skeptical about it, but this is looking to good.

They also probably gave their feedback before the effects of the recent "Penguin" update were felt. This has changed dramatically over the last couple of weeks. Anything earlier than that is more or less "historical information", now.

The "positive feedback" tells you only that the links were done. Not the additional reality that their sites were often penalized or de-indexed a week or two later. :p

Have you noticed how many duplicate comments there are by the same person for the feedback on that gig ? Alarm bells are ringing for me .Steer clear of him however I have had some excellent experiences with Fiverr. You can gain insight into the seller by first contacting him and just by how he answers your questions .Ive had narrow escapes by using this tactic good luck

You have 2-3 days to leave feedback on Fiverr after a gig is delivered to you. Most Fiverr merchants will offer a bonus if you make a positive feedback immediately.

It may take 1-2 weeks before you can see the actual results of the gig, so the people who left the positive feedback have no clue what they actually got until it's too late to leave negative feedback.

Let me finish that thought: Fiverr is a good place to buy cheap stuff without knowing what the final results will be. I've made plenty of purchases on the site myself and the results have been varied. Post-Penguin, I would NEVER buy backlinks to my money sites there. Never never never never never.

Yup I have and I got fairly decent results. Check their rating and comments and be sure they will provide you with a list of the LIVE links they generated.

If they are willing to provide this...then it's all good

If not, run for the hills.

If they are willing to provide this...then it's all good ... apart from the heavy penalizing or even de-indexation of your site a week or two later, as so many have been reporting here.
      Fixed that for you.

Buying backlinks from fiverr may or may not work for you. Depends purely on luck.

The first backlink gig I bought gave my site a boost in ranking and is still ranking on the same position even after penguin update.

Bought the same gig but this time for another site. That site got heavily penalized!

The SEO section of the forum tells the story pretty well. Buying $5 link packages seems to be a large contributing factor to the demolition of IMers websites after the Panda Updates. I'm of the opinion that your links should be built naturally, or not at all.

Your call though, proceed with extreme caution.

There are many networks from where you can buy links, but important is to not to buy links as this will not help you permanently. Google do not like it. So try to build organic links.

And that is exactly what I'm gonna do. The gig I shown you looked good, but after all your responses I decided to do it the right way, no matter how long does it take.

I was also thinking of using a fiverr gig, but after reading this thread, I changed my decision. I would like to thank the thread starter and other contributors.

Here are some other places you may want to look also:

    1) 5rr- offers gigs in $5 increments up to $25.

    2)
    Goferr- offers gigs for $25

    3)
    Jobsfor10- offers gigs from $5 to $20

    4)
Task Army- more pricey, but also more involved tasks. Many gigs here you will not find at Fiverr.

    5)
Zeerk- gigs from $2 to $100.

    6)
Gigbucks- gigs from $5 all the way to $100.

    7)
Fittytown- feels similar to Fiverr, but gigs are $50.

    8)
    Hundoville- gigs for $100.

    9)
Tenbux- gigs for $5 and $10.

    10)
    JustaFive- gigs for $5, $10 and $20.

    11)
Twentyville- gigs for $10 and $20.

    12)
DoozyDoes- gigs from $5.77 to $100.77. Proceeds going to help animals.

    13)
Fourerr- just like fiverr, except (you guessed it) gigs are $4.

    14)
    GigMe5- identical to Fiverr.
