The website getting good traffic but the conversion is less, what might be the reason for this?

    You need to look at what keywords are bringing you the traffic. Are those KWs targeted enough (buying kws) or more general in nature (info seeking)....

      First of all it depend on the traffic against your keyword. analyse your keyword in Google ad word keyword tool. second reason is that your key word must be in top 3 positions.

    Their algoritm changes constantly, as well as influencers that are being used for that algoritm (external and internal factors). In addition they try to make it as relevant as possible, which means you can get personalized results based on your Google account, location or +1 friends.

    In other words: there are a lot of possible explanations that could make this happen.

    Try to focus on delivering value to your readers/visitors, and try not to worry about Google too much.

    When google send spiders to cache your site then you can see the Google dance. At that time google is checking your content so it's not good to show in SERP, moreover in this process google might not find your webpage so your SERP can be affected for 7 days or until next cache date.

    I am saying this from my own experience. This is not quoted from google.
