Hi,
I am creating blog at my website but I am little confuse regarding url of blog, which one is better according to seo websiteurl.com/blog or blog.websiteurl.com

    You can easily rank both of them in google. blog.websiteurl.com is better, because you can then add different pages after that:

    blog.websiteurl.com/page1, blog.websiteurl.com/page2, etc...
    while with websiteurl.com/blog, it would look websiteurl.com/blog/page1 and this would be a little bit harder to rank in search engines!

      Depends on what you are trying to do but if the point of the blog is building seo for your main site I wouldn't put it under a subdomain.

      Really you don't even need the word blog if the posts are built into your site.
      site.com and site.com/post-name would work. No reason to rank for the word blog now is there.

    I think its depend on content which you will post in blog, if you will post content in blog related to your website theme then it will be better to use websiteurl.com/blog so search engine will see as a subpage of website but if you creating blog totally different theme then it will be better to create blog.websiteurl.com because subdomain is treated as different website by search engine

    Well as my experience if you posting content related to website then website.com/blog is better because search engine will treat as website pages but if you create sub domain then search engine will treat as different website so you can decide better.

    I think both can be used. Ranking mainly depends upon how you'll work in your blog. Quality of content that you provide, how much unique and informative they're matters a lot! But similarly you need to make sure that the blog should not seem over optimized for SEO, instead try to give it a look as an informative resource. I think that'll mainly work for you!
