Hello. So a bit of info. My main website was ranking #1 in Google for several months for it's main keywords. Then when penguin hit it moved to around #20-30. I then hired an seo VA team and they did some backlinking for almost the past month and then suddenly now my website (as of several days ago) is no longer in the top 1000 of Google.

One day it dropped to around the 290th position and then a couple days later not even in top 1000.

However I just chacked and I am on the first page of bing and yahoo now and I never was before. Why are my rankings going up on the other search engines and down so much in Google.

This is ridiculous. Any ideas?

Thanks

Each search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc) has it's own system to work. In this case,
seems like your website is in Google sandbox. If your website linked from irrelevant web, then it's useless, even if your website have thousand backlinks.

I think natural content with natural keywords is the answer

    Good Luck

This are all different sites with different mode of operation you don't expect to rank in all for your keywords on the same position.

You probably might be doing something wrong because it pretty much easier to rank on Google than any other search engine out there.

Check your website backlinks and content if the links which are pointing to your website are not good enough then remove those backlinks and analyze your content in deep if content is not satisfactory then update your website with unique and genuine content.

I feel for you OP... sounds like it could be a penalty. Watch this video from SENuke. It explains Penguin and Panda, and what they may be penalizing in these updates. It's very educational.

Brother cweber haven't you read what Matt Cutts said? Penguin is punishing those websites that has been over SEO'd or over optimize maybe the team you hired are bunch of cowards they did not read the new algorithm from google and just do optimizing on there own. V.A. right now should be careful on there strategy over spam website are being push down by google.

try this link it will give you a short idea on how to recover your site

We're experiencing the same problem, ranked in top position on Bing and Yahoo for many of our sites. Now off the map with Google.

    What can we do?

    All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

SEO teams can sometimes do horrible work and can even manage to delist your site.

Yahoo and Bing can be great alternatives to Google traffic. However, most people disregard them, believing that they cannot bring as much traffic as Google.

I've had sites scoring high in the old MSN and Yahoo, as well as AltaVista and they brought me far more traffic than lower Google positions.
