A lot of good advice. Blog posts, directories, videos, bookmarks, articles and press releases are all good ways to create backlinks but not sure how Penguin update has changed things about linking. Not sure if directories carry the same weight as they did pre-Penguin. Also article spinning is now not sure a good way to get a lot of links
