    Is it use for back linking..? If yes, this is what I think..
    As for me, I dont really care whether its free or not..
    All that is important when doing blog comments is that your doing it on a high page rank website.. Some backlinking also requires that the site is related to your website used on the back linking..

    Im a newbie myself too so it would be better if you wait for what others will say too..

    What you mean free? If you mean blogspot, wordpress.com etc then the answer is that it depends from the blog itself and not what platform it uses. There are many great blogspot blogs and on the other hand many crapy self hosted blogs so you should choose those that get high traffic, are relevant to your own site and if they have a good pagerank it will not harm you right?

    I'm not really sure what you're referring to. Sites like Blogspot, Wordpress, etc? If so, then sure. They're just like any other blog for the most part.
