You think 2000 idiotic, fake, FB likes are going
to do anything for you? Like what?

It's not the number of FB likes, it's who is liking
you. The more real people the better.

I think your PM comment is spot-on, but I disagree that 2,000 FB likes isn't worth anything.

It's true, of course, that having 2,000 likes isn't going to do anything for getting more views to your posts or content on FB. (In fact, with your low social and sharing % it's likely to do more HARM)

There is a value, though, in the social proof an additional 2,000 FB likes provides. I'm likely to see through your BS likes (as are you, I'm sure) but there are plenty of people that would take that as social proof and be more likely to pay attention, click through to your site, etc.

That being said, it's gaming and spammy...

Tells the owner they need their admin details to their facebook fan page to deliver the likes; aka otherwise they can't do it. Owner caves and gives them the details. That person steals the account... Remember to deliver likes you should never have to give out that information, ever.
