So basically i've been building backlinks from High PR sites. maybe not high pr webpages but high pr domains. lately i've seen some people sayin links from only high pr sites might be considered unnatural. so would it be wise to build backlinks from low pr sites too or should i just focus on higr pr sites. and by saying low pr i mean PR 0 and PR 1. although people might say i should not focus on pr but still i'd like to see some answers related to the question.

Thanx in advance!!

    Definitely mix it up.

Getting links from only PR 1+ domains can be a sign of unnatural links.

    • Make sure the sites linking to your content are relevant to the overall theme of your website. If you include low PR sites in link building strategy, focus on those that provide high quality content within your niche.

Google is looking for a natural link profile - so, you should have all different link types, some high PR, more low PR, do-follow, no-follow...

If Google finds a site with 200 do-follow PR3-5 links and nothing else - this will surely raise some red flags.

Get any and every backlink you can come by starting first with the related websites to your niche. Be sure to implement anchor text for the keywords you want to rank for when creating those backlinks. Backlinks are a lot of work but they sure do payoff. High page rank equals authority in the SERPS which means more money.

A mix of everything is always advisable. Also, do not limit your self to dofollow sites. It's also best to build links even if it's a nofollow since you can still get a lot of traffic with such sites.

As you would with anchor text & backlink sources - mix it up.

Basically just try to look as natural as possible. (Which is harder than it sounds.)

Basically try to mix it up as much as possible... link source, link pr, no-follow/do-follow, anchor text, link target,... and like JSProjects said, it really is quite hard to make it look natural

Make a lot of low pr links in comparison. So if you have 10 high PR's make 200 low PRs. That's how it works naturally.

80% high pr and quality links while 20% low quality links. Make it natural so that Google will look it as a normal backlinking campaign

Isn't it hard for you to just focus on those high PR sites? I mean, there are a lot of them, but if you narrow it down to just your niche, or anything horizontal to that, wouldn't it be hard? Think of engagement with people in low PR sites as a way of building your reputation.

It is actually difficult to find high PR sites. but i've been doin a lot of research lately and made a long list of high pr sites. although it might not be enough to build backlinks in the future so thats also a reason i was concerned about low PR backlinks.
