Firstly I want to sincerely thank you for helping..

This is a website of love and I painstakingly write the contents myself. This is no hit and run or spin website..

I maintain it almost daily without fail for years..

I have never ever even cross $50 a day.

Don't get me wrong .. I love what I am doing but given the economic situation nowadays, some extra money for the family won't hurt ... Appreciate your kind advice ..

    1. Switch your adsense color. Its bad and it doesn't blend with your site.

    2. Switch your theme color. Make it brighter. The dark color on your site makes it look untrustworthy for a finance website.

    3. I don't know about your traffic but you don't have any content at all on your homepage. Stick a post into the homepage or add a unique post to it.

    4. Bring up your bottom right adsense widget to Position 2 below your affiliate offer.

I would get rid of that poll immediately. With it you are somehow arrogantly assuming that your content is so good that people have no alternative sources for forex content (and trust me there's about a bajillion forex sites out there)

You can include ads and you can offer paid services, but don't ask your readers "Would you prefer to pay or have ads shown?" I mean I haven't seen your site before, but if I saw that on any site I visited I wouldn't go there ever again.

Apart from that, add some more content to the front page and put your adblock in a more prominent position with that content. Remember to blend the ad into your text, don't make it stand out too much.

      Hi lebox1,

You received some fair advice in this thread so far, but nothing that will help you achieve your goal of $50 a day.

The key to earning money with AdSense is in your traffic sources. You must generate extremely targeted traffic, in sufficient quantiries, that converts well for your advertisers.

Find out what your advertisers are selling, and find great sources of traffic that is interested in the same, and find it in abundance.

    Hi,

What's your traffic, current income, and bounce rate look like?

Frankly, to me, it looks really busy and made me bounce. Totally thought I went to the wrong site.

I read through one article and found myself pretty lost in content that was high in buzz words, acronyms, and digressions. I didn't get much out of it. My vote would be to make the content higher quality - you probably had enough facts in the article I read for 3-4 articles, but in word count it was barely 1. Leading in a bit better and explaining more (or linking to appropriate explanation posts) would make me stay instead of bounce.

What kind of traffic are you getting right now? Where is it coming from? According to SEMrush, you're really not getting much SERP traffic at all.

I'm sorry but I think you need to revamp your site alot. Not to say your content isn't good but the site looks like crap. where are the posts? I can't see any form of content just a slider? your not using your ad space efficiently - you have ads at the bottom when they could be at the top right of your logo, don't even bother with the lower ads, arrange your content more and move it all up. Also you have too much stuff to click on 2 wide navs, tags, 2 recent posts widgets, forum post widgets, how the hell you expect people to click your ads when they have all of this distracting them? delete everything on the page, give your ads priority and then place 1/2 widgets lower down, use drop down menus to give users less to click on + blend the ads, use mozzila colour picker to get the hex of the backgrounds.

The ad colors are fine. The niche is not great.
Normally I don't knock any niche, but forex is
      really iffy for adsense.

Plus, you have an overlay ad that interferes with
surfing into the site. It actually harvests emails.
That alone would turn people off.

Not to mention that the overlay "kind of" breaks
      adsense TOS.

      Now I could not resist:

You want "extra money for the family" ?!?!?!

      What, forex aint doin' it?

If you are not even successful with your chosen niche,
what kind of a site could you possibly create?

Do you believe the stuff you print? Then forex yourself
      to riches. Forget adsense.

Haha no worries on this. I expected. Allow me to clarify. If you read more on the site which I gathered from the folks here is a drag . I avocate safe trading. Ie no crazy risk etc. I had 3 margin calls during the crazy times of 2008. After which I practice safe but small trading. Hence this website came about as a work of passion to share to new pple to prevent them from losing money. I do earn from forex but it is not big per se as I always tell myself never never to over risk.

To all my friends here, I am quite sad to hear all this ( but I must thank you all for the time taken to advice ). It seems like my website is doomed

Last time it was worst. On blogger. No wonder why years of hardwork = 0

I wouldn't say your site is finished but the first thing I would do is go and get another theme even spend a few bob and get a decent one, then do some good keyword research and put the site in Google news under the financial section after removing the reviews, aff links. smiley faces and writing more news focused articles. You can even pay a few people on this forum to sort it out and prepare it for news.

forex is a good niche but maybe not for adsense. have you though about affiliate marketing? I dont know about forex my self it is a bit technical so avoid these kind of markets.

for adsense any niche that targets women works very well. In fact, i was reading this report some time back that said women are responsible for something like 70% odd transactions online!
