So this is the report from 2 weeks ago :

As you can see my CTR is low , i dont get so many clicks on that views , i think i get lots of views but still dont get many people clicking on the ads .
Anyway , for 34 k views and 92 clicks i only get 7.9 euros? isnt that low? how much do you guys get? shouldnt i make more money from that amount of views?
I have my adsense in euros not dollars , so what would you guys do ?
Is there a way to better monetize my website or making more money ?
Why i only get few euro cents per click?
What should i do?

Unfortunately for us marketers, Adsense is fair. Do we all agree with the rates that we are given per click? HECK NO!

We just have to remember that Google has to make their cut, and deal with all of the fraud and shenanigans that goes on out there. The fact of the matter is adsense is really the only good ppc platform out there right now. (However, that is biased because I haven't used Bing's marketplace yet, but judging from the lack of positive reviews, I assume that is isn't rivaling adsense at all)

To approach this question another way:

Google owns AdSense. Google made the Panda and Penguin updates. Were the Panda and Penguin updates fair to everyone?

If you do a search in Googles Keyword Research Tool online, when you login you get the amount you as an advertiser are expected to pay for the keywords you have put in.

You will see at the moment that the prices are extremely low because of the world-wide recession we had to have, and subsequently the cut to the Adsense publisher is correspondingly low as well. You are definitely not going to get rich from Adsense at the moment.

thats what happens when you target niches with low paying ads

you could earn the same if you had a couple of credit card or loan clicks

i know how it feels because i had a movie site a while back and i was getting massive traffic, but the clicks i got i didnt really make much

its just the way it is

try creating some niche sites around niches such as credit cards, loans, debt consolidation, dentistry, cosmetic surgery, pet insurance

those are just a few, but any of these types of niches pay very good clicks

Those are insanely tough niches to get on page one for though.

I understand the whole thing about the niche sites , but google sometimes shows ads that are relevant to users , lets say i search " anti-virus " on google , sometimes when i go to other sites , google ads will show ads about anti viruses , so it dosent always show ads about a site and the niche that the site uses

Think about it this way, when the average person goes to work they bust their butts for hours on end yet the CEOs who do very little work end up making 99.9% of the profit. Is that fair?

When we submit ourselves to a system such as Adsense or going to work for a company we give up a portion of our financial freedom. If you are unsatisfied with your income in these situations you have basically two options, either ramp up your Adsense campaign/work more hours at a regular job or quit find better opportunities.

In any event, you can't change what Adsense pays you per ad. However, there are other factors you can change. Work on those and figure out how you can make your Adsense campaigns more profitable if you want to stick with it.

If i assume if its via the sight in your signature, then yes very much possible because of the is low values, Also sites with less original/authority content (blog posts) usually attract low CPC or something potentially get banned. (I got banned for this reason)

    Thanks

It is! Based on the chart you presented... adsense depends on what ads you had... like low or high ads.

Your adsense earnings also depends on your keyword worth. If the keyword is not in demand, naturally the amount per click will be lower.

Use the keyword research tool on your own website to see which are the keywords that are highest in value then try to have more of these keywords as titles and substitles. You can even consider similar meaning keywords which might be more in demand.

October 13th of last year was a double whammy day for most legitimate bloggers...

... Google slapped us and reduced our traffic by 2/3.

And they significantly slashed our AdSense payout by up to 1/50th the amount.

Last year was my best year ever with AdSense - made a record $15.00 click one time, too.

But over the last 30 days, the same traffic is averaging me $.0501 a click (that's about a nickel a click).

    Totally awful.

Now I could get mad at Google for pulling the rug out from beneath us. But that's there choice.

As a result, I'm placing private ads on my site. And judging from a test I did, I should have switched a long time ago. I decided to go with this to help me out:

You have got to be kidding. Do you know "most legitimate bloggers" on
      a personal basis?

      That is rich.

I would imagine most "legitimate bloggers" worry about their blogs first,
      monetization later.

You never know what someone will pay for a click on YOUR site
until someone clicks. Then, as your history progresses, so does
your "normal" click value. Niche is irrelevant, unless it's a niche
with zero interest. Many sites get more and usually a lot less
than any google value tool. Your adsense sites have little
to do with google's keyword tool. Your site will not warrant
any high price clicks until people start bidding up the value.

Many people just can't unmix search with display network.

Over time, I've noticed your posts here. And you obviously like to pick fights.

But instead of dueling with you, here are the facts:

I just ran 3 AdSense reports on my site for the month of May. Take a look at my Page RPM (Revenue per 1,000 page views) over the years:

        2010: $19.19
        2011: $9.74
        2012: $4.63

(I'm probably violating Google's silly Terms of Service by revealing this data... but I don't care as I've removed AdSense from all of my sites a few days ago.)

This is bad news for me. And my business is helping bloggers monetize their blog... so I'm privy to a lot of stats... and this is an across the board trend I'm seeing. There's not a single exception.

In fact a lot of my clients are in panic mode right now.

AdSense is dying. And I'm not going to stand around complaining about it. That's why I suggest getting private sponsors to replace AdSense.

I also posted replies here to confirm what I'm seeing to the original poster of this thread.

          Naturally,
Finding your own private advertisers is a better paying option if you can find them.adsense does the work for publishers and relevant ads on your blog.

Now on the RPM part, I went to look at my adsense account and realize that I have been almost 5 years.

Now 2008 to 2010 was declining but 2011 and 2012 has been increasing in RPM.

There can be a very simple reason for your decrease in RPM, if you are aggressively building new sites and while your new sites might contribute positively or negatively to your RPMs

Statistically, your monthly traffic per sites should be at least 10k for your rpm to be stable over time so as to have an accurate assessment of whether google is slashing your earnings.
