I will not prefer to use software to build you link, and this become more important after penguin update. so just create the back-link manually.

Everyone has their own preference for building links. Software is still effective after penguin, if it is used cleverly.

I totally agree with you. Any link building software should be used to save some time, not to spam. Nobody can build 1000's of backlinks manually in a day, then why do people create these many backlinks using any software? The best thing would be to use a combination of manual and automated methods. Use the software sensibly, and you will get results.

Any software that scouts the internet for unsecure blogs that are flooded with spammy comments and drops spammy comments there is out of my comfort zone.

SenukeX still leaves a footprint as large as a house, I'd only use it for Tier 2 or 3, for Tier 1 links, manual is always best. Go for quality when directly linking to your money site!

Hello! Just a suggestion, doing it manually would be greater. For, it's far more safer than using some software to build them for you. Just take time in making quality links and your all set. Best of luck!

It's not the software that makes SEO bad but it is how it is used.

It is really how you use the software, not the software itself. For instance, creating a 2.0 and adding one spam article with your links is not good. Instead create a 2.0, add a few good articles with no links to it. Do this for a week, after you have 5-6 articles add one with your link in it. Now promote that 2.0 with bookmarks, articles, etc. Building 2.0s with an article on hot dogs that links to a website about hair loss is not going to work. Make your links with quality content. It might take longer, but I am willing to do that.
