Alexa Ranking problem

Hello warriors.

Few month ago one of my site alexa ranking was 50,xxx. at that time bought a traffic
for getting high impression. But after getting that traffic Alexa ranking going increasing daily(not boosting).
its become 90,xxx .Earlier it was boost well.

so, what the reason for it?
Some people are saying buying traffic helps to boost alexa.:confused:
How can i boost it again?
please give a help....

    IMO Alexa ranking is mostly depending on daily traffic your website got. I have monitored it by daily checking Alexa Rank and Google Analytics. If your website is going down, it means other sites are going up...

    Honestly i would suggest you to do not focus on alexa ranking, its completely waste of time and easy to manipulate through fake hits generating software.

    Can I ask why you are so bothered with Alexa rank in the first place?

    It doesn't really benefit you in any way.

    Surely it'd be better to concentrate your efforts and marketing budget on getting real visitors to make an income rather than spending money on fake traffic to manipulate the Alexa ranking?

    Am I missing something?

      Im totally agree with you. But most of advertisers checking alexa rank for advertising , isn't it?

    Alexa rank is certainly the best tool to evaluate a website traffic, but it can be faked easily, so it is not really so revelant.

    Alexa rank is not depends on number of visitors your site got, it totally depends on visitors having Alexa Toolbar installed on their browser. This is reason behind tech related site having good Alexa rank and for example health related site having low Alexa Rank. IF you check sites under 1,00,000 they are more often tech related. So don't focus on Alexa more.

      But it would effect your site reliability. If your site have a terrible rank, then people will doubt your site value.

        Man that is some awful perceptions.

        I am seriously beginning to doubt if anyone here wants
        to make money. Because day in and day out, some
        of the comments here are just the blind leading the blind.

        Stay away from anyone who says alexa stats matter.

        Anyone who correlates alexa rank and site value needs
        to go back to square one. Check that. Step zero.

        But like all threads like this that morph into nonsense, it's
        shows why there are an overwhelming numbers of threads
        on "failure."
