Kicked off by Penguin. Advice!

Hi,

I am one of the 3% impacted my penguin. I have been using UAW for about 6 months with great success, and was on page 1 for several of my keywords. Now I am on page 18.

I have 2 business sites, 1 I optimized w/ UAW (now on pg 18), and another old site which I didnt (on page 5). My question is threefold:

1. Is it better to start recovery with my penalized site (pg 18), or my neutral site (page 5), which has much less, but kosher, backlinks

2. If it is better to go with my 'neutral' site, will I be penalized If I copied all the content from the penalized site to the neutral domain, as it is a much nicer looking website?

3. Is there any other advice you guys can give me to get back up there?

Thanks
RS

    Hey Roman,

From the looks of it you may have ran into a slight issue, however fortunately for you this set back you've encountered can be cured if done correctly. My advice to you comes down to one word "diversify". Try using additional article submitters for your first site; though it seems you have reached the ceiling with UAW. IMO three months is enough for one tool of the same link, focusing on one domain. In other words you simply ran out of, or used a lot of non-unique IP's domains to submit too. I don't think you should panic and discontinue building links, because that would also confirm your site guilty of link-building and you would suffer consequently. So, if you can... purchase a couple more article submission tools and cycle between them every 3 months to avoid this problem in the future.

P.S. Start this with your neutral site as well going forward..

Roman...I would say be patience. I..myself was a victim and I regained my position back. I think you will get back your position. In the meantime..don't giveup creating links. Write your own content and link/post them in several websites. Also..don't forget to study/analyze your competitors.

    Thanks alot guys!

    2 more questions:

    1. is it harder to get back on top w/ a penalized site than with a 'neutral' blank slate site

    2. If it took me ~4 months to get on top using UAW w/ no previous optimization history, and assuming I did used many submission services to diversify my backlinks now, how long would it take to get back on top. Would it take longer or shorter than 4 months?

    Thanks
