What is the best free service to check the backlinks anchor text of your site?
The free version of Open Site Explorer only lets you see the anchor text of the five most commonly used phrases.
Backlinks watch misses a lot of links, such as links on article directories. For example, I checked a site on backlinks watch and it only showed 1 anchor text link, but in OSE it showed about 20 anchor text links.
Bing Webmaster tools has the same problem. However, it seems they show article directory links in the backlink report, but don't show many other backlinks that tools such as OSE show.
