What is Adsense & Amazons policy on cannabis sites?

Hi guys,

I'd recently created a website for one of my friends. Its a "cannabis activist" sort of site; news, articles, general activists stuff, so nothing illegal as such. Hes quite an authority on the subject matter in fact.

However to make it worth my while I have to monetise the site somehow, even if its just pennies.

My question is:

What is Adsense and Amazons policy for placing their ads on such a site?

And if they are against it, then are there any other suggestions you would suggest on how we may monetise the site?

Thanks!

I'm sure anything you can smoke & is illegal, will be a problem with Adsense

Come on dude think about it. Which global company is going to affiliate itself to recreational drugs? That would be corporate suicide.

You are very unlikely to find advertisers, even if it's allowed by adsense in the first place.

I am pretty sure the only way to monetise a site like that is to ask for donations.

Unless you have a product of your own to sell...???

I disagree with all the replies in this thread. Amazon DOES sell vaporizers that are primarily used for cannabis. You should have no issues linking from your site to appropriate vaporizers.

As for Adsense, you could ask Google yourself. I wouldn't risk it though.
