I have been slapped, so I started a fresh new campaign but I have 1/10 score for all my keywords - is this because my URL has been slapped?

How can I fix this?

yes once your campaign and keywords have been slapped, that includes the domain url as well. You need a brand new url and start all over. even if you open a brand new account and use the same domain name again, you will get the same results

    Yeah, get a new domain.

Also fix what caused the slap in the first place.

Use tight adgroups. Few related keywords in each.

keyword ==> Ad ==> landing page = they should be relevant to each other

I can have a quick look at your site and give you specific tips if you want. You can PM me.

I have created a brand new campaign using ppc classroom 2. I think this new campaign is a Heap better than the last. I think my campaign got slapped because I used keywords like whitepages.com / white pages.com got great traffic but low score. These keywords are all gone now, and have been gone for a few weeks. My site is a people finding site, part of acme people search.

My site is blackbook-peoplefinder.com - all my new keywords are 100% relevant, but seems I dont even have the chance to proove this!

Creating a new URL isnt that simple for me, as I have been working on this site for the last 4 months. Though I can create a new URL, this would be absolute last resort.

Why not clone your website on another domain? Nothings stops you.

If you want to use whitepages in your keyword list, you may wanna set up a different landing page and say something like: "I used that site but it didn't work - but this one did!"

Also, I sure hope your landing page has a lot more going for it than the homepage of your site (but I'm sure you know that if you have gone through PPC Classroom).

You have done all this work. 90% of people stop when they are 10% away from success. Make sure you finish this project the right way. I hope it works out for ya.

    Keep us posted.

  • After you go ahead and create your new domain, (even better, get a brand new account with new domain)....

be sure to insert some of the keywords your targeting into your web page/landing page (the keywords don't have to be shown to a website viewer. You can make it so that it is hidden in your source code so that only search engine bots will pick it up.

Placing the exact keyword phrase being used in your campaign on your landing page will give you a higher score, which will in turn get you a higher placement for a lower priced bid.

Ok im working on a new site name, but im not sure if I should pick a .com or a .ws. With a ws. I can have a site like Peoplesearch.ws

but with .com it will be People-Search.com for example, so not sure which is better - mainly for SEO results.

    Hi Kitejunkiee,

I'm sorry to say that you have been given a lot of bad advice from this thread. You don't need a new domain. Your new domain will have the same issues. You have to overcome the account history for your poor quality scores.

I explain how to do this in post #13 in the following thread:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...difficult.html

You may also need to review the information in post #10 at this thread:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...rds-doing.html

I you have any difficulty let me know and I try to help you with those issues.
