Domain Vs. Subdomain PPC

Hi guys,
Quick question, i'm quite new to affiliate marketing but have been building websites for over a year now. I've chosen a small niche within a larger niche i already cover but need to know whether to use a domain or sub-domain.

I'll explain my predicament a little more. I have a health related website already and i have been building the site for almost a year with content and links.

Now i want to run an affiliate campaign and have chosen a specific health niche and am currently building my landing page for this product. In the future, i want to market several affiliate products through my health site so it is better to set each one up as

www.naturalhealth.com/nicheproduct1
OR
nicheproduct1.naturalhealth.com

I plan to run a PPC campaign too so i'm aware that google must be happy with the domain names. Any help much appreciated.

I love subdomains, and the results I am getting with them as allow me to not need to buy a domain for every niche I am targeting (I am saving alot)........

That Google Spokeman Doche (don't remember his name some Mattis something, I think "I just care much about names") once said that they are ranking websites that doesn't necessarily have a keyword in the domain but more of a company type name.

And that was before I went ahead and purchase a domain name that with the word reviews and free in it. Now My subdomains outrank other websites easily.....

"I think there are benefits to websites with review and free in the domain name, just saying, who knows"

Also all my 3 subdomains are on google page 1(#2,#3,#4 and I am lazy but will move them all to #1 soon), I hope that helps.

Cant remember if google has a problem with subdomains, but adcenter (Yahoo&Bing) doesnt give a crap.

Thanks, my two niches are definitely connected:
    Example: naturalsupplements and losweightfast.
If i build up naturalsupplements.com, will it be better to have naturalsupplements.com/loseweightfast or loseweightfast.naturalsupplements.com. Later on down the line, i intend to have many sub-niches within my general niche.

You can try A/B testing on it to find out which they click more.
But i believe is with domain where people trust on while subdomain is what mostly people trust and click for it . It might different result in your case , so you need to try it out to figure out which is the best.
