Any benefits of using .co, .net, .org domains?

I have been using .com's for everything. I know that using the exactkeyword.com works hands down the best for me. I recently made a exactkeyword.com site and was already on page one for a 20k searched word and it was a blank website with zero work done to it.!

Unfortunately I feel as if the internet is getting over saturated with people who also know this .

Can you get the same results as you would using .com if you were to use exactkeyword.net, .co, or .org? or any other dots? If not can I still get to the number one spot on the big G?

Would like to also here your experiences with using something other than .com domains.

Thanks for your input in advance.

I feel that dot com still gives an advantage especially if the domain name contain the key words, but with the new domain names coming out, I wonder how relevant would that be soon.

Yes. A dot com will always be a first choice but do the others still hold any king of value for ranking at all?

They can still rank the same way as the .com domains do. It's just that the .com domains are treated as the more trustworthy domain over the others. Just do the typical SEO that you know and remember to follow the guidelines set by Google and the other search engines when it comes to site optimization.

    • While it is better to use .com, you may also register a domain name with other extensions. It all depends on the type of content you provide. As long as you write relevant content and provide value to your visitors, the extension you choose won't affect your rankings.

ok. I understand. Lets say for example dogtraining.com. Say the exact "dog training" .com is taken. Would you then do "easydogtraining.com" or would you rather do "dogtraining.net"? Which would you think holds up better for seo?
