Getting Youtube videos to rank #1 is supposedly easy?

Hi guys,

i have done a fair amount of SEO, but have never come close to working around Youtube. Over the course of the past month or so i have seen several WSO's and general threads about ranking Youtube videos both on Google and in Youtube's search function itself. Some claiming to be able to rank #1 in as little as 15-20 minutes.

I would certainly like to expand my business and produce some videos but i have no experience with ranking videos. How can i do this? I am not convinced it is possible in as little as 20 minutes as suggested by certain "Gurus". However i would be more than happy to be proved wrong.

So how can i go about improving the rank of Youtube video both on Google and Youtube?

    It is possible to rank a video #1 or damn close to it in 20 minutes if you pick the right keyword. Most of those WSO's are teaching people to create a little video and target a keyword like "Wal-Mart Coupons August 2012". You create the video today, a few months ahead of when people might search for a term like that. You have to constantly create these videos and be posting them months ahead of when they will see any traffic.

    It works as far as rankings. Whether or not the traffic will convert into anything that is going to make you money... I don't know.

    If you think they are going to teach you how to rank a video #1 for something like "Make Money Online", save your money and skip the WSO.

      thanks for the reply, i was pretty sure the WSO's would be targeting long-tail keywords anyway. I guess its just another hyped up system. Still i think i will experiment with Youtube rankings
