Indexing Web 2.0 backlinks

It is nearly impossible to get web2.0 backlinks indexed. Blog comments are easy to index but I struggle with everything else. I am using backlinksindexer and to be honest I am not seeing the results. Yeah sure the pages turn up in google but I am not credited with the backlink. Any ideas anyone? I am plugging away thinking my methods are not working but in truth, the links aren't being indexed.

I do not quite get the phrase "Yeah sure the pages turn up in google but I am not credited with the backlink.". So are the web 2.0 pages indexed or not?

If the page is showing up, you're definitely getting credited.

Don't worry about what Google "says" you're being credited with.

Besides, the only people a visual credit is worthwhile to are your competitors

How do you confirm that you are not credited?

I am sorry, I am bit confused...,
    1. Are your links indexed and you are not still see any improvements on your SERP? - If yes, your links are indexed (Just search for your link URL on Google, if it shows you the EXACT page where you place the link, then, YES... Google has record of your web 2.0 site page) no worry, you will be credited in near future.

    2. Are your struggling to get index from Google for your web 2.0 links? -
If yes, Get backlinks to your web 2.0 site links. That helps. Go for bookmarks as well as other methods. That is really healthy in terms of SEO.

The problem is some web 2.0 sites have nofollow links in them and you'd have to pay for membership or an upgrade. When the links become nofollow at times google does not read them but alexa does. If anything you can check your site at alexa.com and check if its there. You can see both nofollow and dofollow links there, even though some people find it useless it does help track your links to important sites. I would continue building links and not worry so much on finding the link on google, it takes time until you find it and at times you can wait about a month before you can see a difference.

The quality of these web2.0s are very high, as they point directly at my money site. It just seems that web2.0s never show-up in backlink checker tools and if they do they show up fleetingly and then dissappear. Social signals could be an option but making these look natural is a bit of a b*tch

Backlink checkers show only small fraction of total backlinks. As long as those web2.0s are indexed you are good to go.

I wouldn't pay much attention to the results you get with backlink tools.

Backlink checking tools are 3rd party tools that usually show about 10% of the actual backlinks out there. All you should care about is whether the page shows up in Googles index. If so your link has been credited.

I've been using Web2.0backlinks.com to build these properties and I believe they use backlinksindexer.com to get them indexed but someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Seems to be getting the job done so far.

If the page comes up in Google that means you've been credited with the link.

In my opinion is not necessary to use any program or method to index web 2.0 backlinks because Google will automatically index them in a couple of days.

What's the difference between backlinks getting indexed by Google and actually getting credited for those backlinks? Google might index the page but not follow the link to your site. This would make sense as to why links do not show-up in backlink checkers.

There are several ways you can view this.

Firstly, no backlink checker is perfect. All of them miss a ton of backlinks at any given time. So, you can't really depend on a backlink checker to tell you whether or not your backlinks are indexed.

Secondly, a backlink getting indexed means that Google has found it. And thus, it is crediting you for that backlink.

But, a backlink not getting indexed can mean two things:

      01. It can mean that Google hasn't found that backlink.

      02. It can mean that Google has found and is crawling that backlink, but has decided not to index it for some reason or other. But one thing you need to note, in this instance, you still get credited for the backlink even if it isn't indexed. For more details on this phenomena, you can read this article:

Is Google Still Counting Backlinks from De-Indexed Sites?

On another note, if you really think that your backlinks haven't been found by Google yet, you can use the techniques in this article to get them indexed more quickly:

Making Your Backlinks Safe, Strong and Desirable to Furry Animals

In involves the use of 2nd, 3rd and 4th tier backlinks, and how you can create those more easily.

Still, like everyone mentioned previously, I wouldn't count on backlink checkers to determine whether your backlinks are being credited or not. Those are hit and miss.

And if Google indexes your pages, it is definitely following the link to your site.
