My First Niche Site. I Need Some Adsense Advice.

I have had a niche site that I havent done much with for a couple months and I have decided to knock the dust off of it and get to work.

The niche site is The Hunger Games Audiobook.net and I am not sure how (if even possible) to monetize it. I have checked the first page and it is currently dominated by torrent sites and YouTube.

So I have decided to try adsense. I checked out the data on the keyword using Market Samurai and the term is getting around 27k searches a month with an AWV of 860 dollars.

My question, is the figure I am getting from MS off because of the amount of people looking to get the audiobook for free (via Torrents and YouTube videos) that I have hit a dud?

I am not even close to being an expert, so any and all info you are willing to share will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    When you checked the data out, was it "Exact match" number of searches?

    You haven't hit a dud, anything can be monetized, if you got those top positions all the traffic would trickle to your site instead, then it's all about making your site convert the way you'd like, be it adsense clicks.
