Selling on .ORG Domain names

Hi,

Is there any problem running a serious lucrative activity on a .ORG domain name. Or should I get a .COM

The reason I am asking is that I have already an established .ORG site, that has decent authority and Age, and I do want to take advantage of it.

    This would probably be better answered in the main Internet Marketing subforum. Doesn't really have anything to do with SEO.

    Probably what you will find though is about half the people say there is not problem, while others will claim that people are more likely to buy from a .com or .net.

    I think you are fine using a .org. People buy **** off of Craigslist everyday.

      Actually it has a lot to do with SEO, because its an exact match domain name

        I meant this is an SEO subforum. Whether you have the .org or .com makes no difference really SEO-wise. Your question was will people buy off of a .org, was it not? And that question has nothing to do with SEO. That is a marketing issue.


        Like I said though, people are buying and selling all sorts of stuff on craigslist.org, so you should be fine.
