Youtube Viewcount Stats - Can somebody answer this?

This is a first time post for me (to be honest I didn't think this would be my first post) but I frequently see Youtube stats that don't make sense. Now I'm down in Australia and whether for some reason that means I get to see early results, that's fine. I'm fine with that.

What I do have a problem with is I subscribe to all the major (top ten Youtube Partners... yes including the annoying ones) just to get an idea of what works and what doesn't with videos and video editing, but each time I get a message in my email "so & so has released a video" I click it and then I see the view count AND always, always without fail the view count is 301. Like some magic number 301.

And this is the exact same figure from all the major Youtube partners I subscribed to when I click on the link to watch their newest video. So by chance are all the major players duping the system? Well I know the latest one I just watched must as they have 846 likes and 301 views. I'm going to start print screening the web pages just as a proper comparison.

I know there's Fiverr that can dupe the view count and what not, but I just can't explain why I always see the "perfect number" 301. Any explanations out there?
