How to focus on Page Rank?

So I am toying with an idea, and I would like to build a website designed only to see how high I can get the PR.

How would any of you go about doing this? The content would not be any concern, only page rank.

A high PR webpage is actually combining power of thousands of low PR links. So when you are getting high PR links you are drinking juice using big jugs instead of using small cups.:p

get as much back links as possible, do not think about relevancy, niche, PR. Your site content should be grammatically correct to get some more PR advantage. Only back links can rise your PR, so just go for it and stop asking any more (just kidding).

getting backlinks from niche source will help you to get good page rank. You also need to concentrate on generating high quality content based link for your website otherwise your website will drop the search engine ranking.

The value of a link in terms of PageRank (link juice) depends on the PageRank of the page with the link divided by the number of outgoing links. If the linking page, even if it has high PageRank, has hundreds of outgoing links - the value of each link will be minimal. Well pagerank for the most part is for selling links, but if this was the case you are better off focusing on traffic as its more money on the long run. Target low comp keywords and you should be good. I usually don't bother with pagerank anymore as it brings no value and people tend to pay more for traffic more then anything.

  I was able to get a new domain and get it up to PR4 within 3 months. This was a record time for me. Here are the things I did to make it happen.
  
  1) create unique content
  2) constantly add a new page with unique content (almost daily)
  3) provide varying contextual backlinks consistently growing from unique IPs over time

Well if building pagerank is your only goal then you might wanna get hold of a few dofollow blog lists. Drop your relevant comment with links and fingers crossed the next update should see a pr rise for you.

According to me PageRank is a metric that uses the democratic nature of the Web to measure the quality of a particular page based on its inbound linkage from other sites.It is not the sheer number of links pointing to a page that contributes to its PageRank, but the quality of the web pages linking to it.

From my experienca High PR dofollow blog links will give you high PR of your site. For example, one site for which i started backlinking only with high PR blog post was updated from N/A to PR4 in only few months, and only because high PR links. Here i am talking about PR6, PR7 dofollow blog post links.

your PR increase with the backlinks you receive. The higher your backlinks pr, the quicker your pr too will increase and vice versa
