Adsense: Hubpages vs Wordpress

Hey guys,

I've read somewhere that after the Panda/Farmer update Google requires a website/domain to be at least 6 months old before granting an individual an adsense account. Is this really necessary before they grant an adsense account?

Also, it's mentioned that if one doesn't have an adsense account to use, then they should use Hubpages to apply for an adsense account. Does this mean that I can only use that adsense account for HubPages or can I use that adsense account for my other sites as well on a Wordpress platform?

Lastly, for generating revenue via adsense which platform is more profitable from your experience. Hubpages or Wordpress?

Thanks in advance!

Hubpages is going to take a slice of your pie, where as with a self-hosted Wordpress site you'll get a chance at clicks 100% of the time.

If you don't have an Adsense account, simply get one through Hubpages and then add your own self-hosted sites a month or two down the road.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Any reason why I should wait a month? couldn't i do it earlier safely w/o Google shutting my adsense account down?
