Is it Still Possible to get $0.01 Clicks on Facebook for US / CA traffic?

Coz I have not found a single intr. in US/CA that has less than $0.50 per click / impression.

I guess the days of $0.05 bids on CPM are gone and so are the CPCs.

    Any one????

I have played around with this for hours and hours on end for the last few days, the lowest I have managed to get the suggested bid is like $0.50. I have tried targeting a big audience, very targeted audience, males only, females only...

:/ Adding a few more countries can some times get the suggested bid down, but its not by a lot (def. not below the $1 mark when targeting big).

    Any help at all please?

I have gotten bids as low as 10 cents for a golfing page and 15 cents for a travel page. I try not to pay anything over 20 cents, just isn't worth it. IMO

What did I do to get clicks this low? Well, I really don't know. I create the ad, select the target audience (usually always USA), and start with CPM. After the ads start running, I switch over to CPC and it usually lets me have a low bid. I will then adjust it even lower a day or 2 later. It has worked for me but every niche is different.

Quick answer: just bid below the suggested bid. FB nearly ALWAYS gives a suggested bid way too high. My tip is to start very low and increase until you start to see impressions. That is your minimum CPC. Build a successful, profitable campaign based on this CPC.

After that, your CTR is vital. This is because we would be looking to get into CPM bidding. CPM is lower than CPC but you have to maintain a certain CTR as you would lose money relative to CPC if your CTR is below a certain point. A high CTR running CPM has rewards of a very, very low effective CPC and that is how you get the very, very lowest bids but there is no single 'fantastic secret' to it all. You just need to work, test, track, optimize, dozens of times over.
