What to do with pr5 domain?

I have acquired a pr5 domain, and want to use it to boost my other website. Should I set up a website on it and link to my website or just redirect it to my other domain. Will this pass link juice? The domain has around 400 backlinks, most of the anchor text has the original site name, would this cause a problem if I redirected it? It is somewhat in the same category as my original site, but none of its backlinks target my keywords.

Using a redirect will pass link juice, but how this will affect your rankings with your other website is difficult to say for sure.

It sounds like the PR5 has good anchor text ratio in back links though .. this is ever so important now with over optimization penalties going around.

Depending on how much time you have on your hands .. personally I'd be tempted to develop the site .. PR5 is a really good starting point for building an authority website.

No i have tested this out myself. If you redirect your links you lose your rankings for most of the keywords and your pagerank drops. I suggest you mix the links up not only pr5+ but mix nofollow links, dofollow links and work on the dofollow links on pr2+ links. This way google doesn;t think you are rushing for first position
