Backlinks from Fiverr

All these folks posting on Fiverr promising anything from 100 contextual backlinks to thousands of backlinks, what do they actually do to create those links, presumably very quickly given they only charge a fiver?

As a relative newbie to this, I still don't really understand how they can do this, despite reading dozens of threads on sites like this one.

What is the key that I am missing here? How can they do that so quickly?

If you are looking at thousands of backlinks then they may be coming from less desireable places such as Xrumer links. Although these can be used for some purposes , I wouldn't use them on money sites.
In regard to fewer but more valued links, some of these people live in countries where the average daily wage isn't much more than $5 so a bit of focussed work is like gold!

The links will most likely come from someone running software such as XRumer or SENukeX.

I wouldn't use these on a site you want to brand as an authority or white-hat site (especially post Panda)

That being said, I do know some black hat marketers achieving real results by spamming the crap out of the Internet with automated software. Sure, their sites may get booted from Google after a while - but they just set up another site and get to work again.

So what's the alternative to using software like that if it takes days to generate all these links manually? I'm running a bricks and mortar business and just want my site on the first page of Google. If I shouldn't really be using software, and outsourcing it is risky, is there some clean cut method of generating backlinks that won't take me an eternity? All Google throws up is people saying to write articles and comment on blogs, which just sounds like spamming to me and is completely unsustainable in the long run.

Don't put the word SEO near the word Fiverr, or at least try to keep them separated as much is possible.

I'd be very cautious buying any backlinks that point directly to your primary website.

If you're building tiers...maybe, but I'd lose sleep over the thought of a fiverr "gig" blasting my money site.

    Anyone else feel that way?

Im sure that there are better ways to get backlinks than Fiverr. You get these services offered on eBay as well.

My advice would be to stay clear and find something that you know you can trust - even if it takes longer to reach your desired outcome!

    cheers

    Stay away from them.

    Quality > Quantity.

Go for the gigs giving out a small number of backlinks from high authority sites (pr7/pr8).

totally agree with him. don't go with thousand of backlinks but only 10 high pr backlinks related to your site topic will surely help you. Also many other place then fiverr to get quality backlinks.

I've ordered backlink fiver gigs and they did nothing but HELP my site. So I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.

My recommendation is this, don't use fiver if you don't understand seo. USE FIVER if you DO understand seo.

You have the option to pm people before ordering their gigs if you're not clear about how the links are being built. I usually have articles written and stuck with the girl who did them the best (no spelling/grammar issues). She uses buffer pages and builds around 5,000 backlinks to the buffer pages, then about 40 pr3 - pr5 links directly to the site.

I've been ordering her gig once a week, and have had outstanding results. As far as I know its panda/penguin safe, it saves me a lot of time, I trust the girl, so I have no issues buying the gigs.

You just need to do your homework imo. I've seen the work she's done, I trust her, so I will use her for as long as she's around. You just got to find the right person imo.

      Hi RedShifted,

Sent you a PM. I started trying Fiverr recently for SEO. Would it be possible to PM me the person you are using so I can try that service? Would greatly appreciate it.

      Cheers,

It was created questions in my mind when I saw them for the first time. How can they offer such large volume of backlinks in a price of $5-$10 :O. Generally, if you want to acquire some good PR4 backlink by a freelancer from any freelance market, it will charge you way more than it.

May be you are right. And this type of links will be deadly in recent days. Quality is always important than quantity. I do not say that stop using fiverr. Use fiverr wisely.

90% of fiverr backlinks will hurt your site. What more do you expect for $5? Quality?

    No way.

I use Fiverr gigs on some of my low value Tier 1 properties (web 2.0s and low PR blog posts), YouTube videos, or Web 2.0 properties that I use to promote affiliate offers. With the right gig you can juice up parasite properties, which can in turn pass this link juice to your money website or drive traffic to an affiliate offer.

This is a less risky strategy, but the same rules apply to Tier 1 properties and affiliate web 2.0 sites as does your money site, e.g., diversify anchor text and use unique or highly spun content (+90% uniqueness and readable is ideal).

I like to purchase highly spun (>90% uniqueness), readable, relevant articles in spintax format and provide the articles to pyramid link builders on Fiverr. This helps with indexation rates for the tier 1 properties they build. The gigs I purchase usually build 20-50 web 2.0s and backlink them with 10K wikis or 5K socialbookmarks. I provide a couple of spintax articles to the seller and let them rip.

I have found that if you don't provide your own spun articles that the gig sellers will post articles with 5-10% uniqueness. This doesn't help with indexation rates and is easily spotted by Google.

I have been able to rank Youtube videos and web 2.0 properties that I use to funnel traffic either to my money site or to affiliate offers using Fiverr gigs and dripped social bookmark blasts. It doesn't cost much to rank for some terms and you can realize a quick ROI.

If you know nothing about SEO you are going to damage your domain whether you buy links on Fiverr, on the Warrior Forum, or elsewhere.

In general, you will find *most* service providers on this forum have no idea what the heck they are doing and are selling garbage. Sadly, most newbies will continue buying this garbage, because of slick copy.

I should add that I don't point ANY Fiverr backlinks to my high value money websites. I don't trust any Fiverr link builder with my babies.
