There Must Be a Couple of Good Fiverr Gigs Out There Post Penguin...

I know the Penguin update has made most gigs offering backlink services redundant, but there must be a few left that are useful. Obviously not the gigs that promise 5,000 backlinks, but perhaps the ones that promise 10 edu/gov backlinks.

A few hours ago I bought a "contextual link on a PR7 site." The seller is actually on this forum. Not sure how effective it will be, but for $5 (£3.33) I 'll take my chances.

Could anyone recommend any gigs that are still useful post penguin?

Thanks.

There really isn't much chance now.

So many sites are using Fake page ranks now that promote services through Fiverr ..not saying the one you used is .. but PR7 selling contextual links through Fiverr sounds a bit dodgy.

The problem I've found with Fiverr is the majority of people who do "SEO" gigs make out they know what will get you rankings and to the untrained eye can look extremely appealing.

That's not even the worst of it .. because so many of them are just liars .. appologies to anyone reading this who does back linking services on Fiverr and is honest.

But the majority say "manual" .. when it's really not.

I'd forget Fiverr altogether .. just focus on guest posting, editorial links .. make it all natural and create awesome content.

I don't know if that's a joke, but the crazy thing is....

      There was NONE before penguin....

Why do people keep looking under the same rock?

I guarantee you there are plenty of sites, good sites,
that will sell you a contextual link for $5 a month.

      Money well spent.

I don't think you understand how the fiverr "contextual link on a PR7 site." scam works.

The key here is the word site, If the PR isn't on the exact same page as your backlink your wasting your time/money.

Nobody will give you a PR7 backlink for $4 on fiverr, unless that same backlink page has 2,000 existing links.

why are people still wasting time on cheap easy links? go contact a real websites that has history and is related to your niche. that link will be 100 times the quality of your cheap profile link etc. Bear in mind, it will probably cost you 10 times the price but you get what you pay for.

      I agree.

They buy those junk links because there priced really low & they think they'll out-source/rank a page for very little money, which isn't going to happen (long term, If ever at all).

It's the Easy Button in action.

Tell me about it! They'll learn the hard way and when their sites don't rank after spending x amount on cheap links, a thread will appear

"Help me rank my site, I done this and that and its not working"

To be honest, I was using these cheap easy tactics and was only converted when I had a stint at a marketing agency. That's when I learnt real SEO from a pro.

I've learn't and I'm only passing on my knowledge. You can lead a horse to water...

BTW, who wants to buy my SEO software. I can transfer the licenses

        SEOLR
        BMD

        and a few more..

Most paid service now are being cracked down by Google. IMO, its too risky. I am not saying you can't, there are still good ones out there, I would suggest make a "test buy" to a dummy site. Ask for a report, if they have one, the see how it goes.
