This is a question.

I have a site that I have been running for about 3 years, it is a guild site.

In the total time I have been administering it, now own it, It has had well over 1,000,000 page views. (current count since update on Dec 2007 is 874,900)

I have been trying to think of how to capitalize on it.

google- site:sxgdotcomdotau returns
Results 1 - 10 of about 4,400 from sxgdotcomdotau

I have added adsense into the rss feed and Link google adds on tournament pages.

More ideas welcomed please. Also ideas on current implementations welcome.

    Hey oZ,
Do you have an opt-in list with golf related information?

I see that there is a member sign in area, so perhaps this
    is already in place.

I would think folks who visit your site would be interested in
golf related information on a regular basis. Perhaps you could
send email/newsletter reviews of courses or products occasionally
    in addition to your RSS.

It may also be helpful to add professional guests like tour pros
or well-known amateurs who review products they endorse, etc.
The way to monetize this is to provide an affiliate link or dedicated
page for purchasing these products on your site if your readers
    find it suits their needs.

If you're getting about 30,000 visitors per month, then you should
be able to grow an opt in list with ease. Encourage this by providing
a free report on SXG courses or something to that effect.

Congrats on the popularity and good luck to you.

This is more for the access of guild related site features, but is an overlooked area by me. If I change the terms of registering to include automatic inclusion to newsletters (it does not allow for this yet) do I need ALL registrants to agree to new terms prior to first newsletter?

Also last month I purchased 2 dozen golf related PLR articles (will re-write them) hoping to add these into the mix, either newsletter or posted articles (both?).

I have found several quality golf related items through clickbank. Products page will be my next step of attack.

      Thanks
