Check out this video I found on no follow backlinks. It makes sense, and I see alot of people saying to comment only on do-follow backlinks. What are you thoughts?
#follow #links

      Heh.

But, regarding the topic, I'll absolutely take a nofollow link. At the very least it's going to add to my overall diversity. And if it's a niche related site I may even get some traffic.

Nofollow links are crawled by the G-Bot, but they are not counted on the overall link graph, therefore they will not help ranking. They also do not flow page rank, so page rank isn't passed either.

Dofollow links are crawled, counted and do flow page rank. 95%+ of all links on the internet are dofollow as nofollow is a relatively new concept (2005 IIRC) formed at the advent of mass wordpress spam. It's not really that unnatural, therefore, to have 95%+ Dofollow links, or even 100%, to be quite honest. Don't worry about looking natural/unnatural in terms of dofollow/nofollow. If anything, it is unnatural to have, say, 50% of your links as nofollow because that is at least 10 times more than the average overall distribution of nofollow links on the entire internet.

for generating directory visitors i think no follow works. But if you want to get search engine visibility then you must create some do follow links for your website.
