Outsourcing SEO: Where to Start

Hey y'all,

This is my first thread (I think), so go easy on me.

So before this Panda/Penguin BS, I learned the ropes of SEO and managed to get a few sites ranked #8-#4 for a while, generating some alright change.

Ever since sites like ALN got shut down, my sites lost ranking, but luckily I was able to rank youtube videos that pretty much continued the traffic flow...

Question is:

I want to start ranking another batch of websites, but don't have the time to relearn new methods of backlinking, etc, so....

...is outsourcing SEO a good idea? If so, what are some of the best ways to go about outsourcing? I know of sites like oDesk etc, but I just wanted some reassurance and more suggestions. Know anybody that does a good job of this? Can you recommend services?

And no, I'm not interested in some Warrior Forum special offer BS. Snake Oil salesmen aren't in my agenda, and anyone that relies on this forum's offers to rank websites are f*cking idiots.

    I doubt Odesk or anything else will help you if your old SEO strategy was based mainly on ALN.

    The Warriors for hire section here will give you some good options. Other than that, sites such as vworker and similar sites may find you someone. You can also run your own classified ad to find the right person.

    I found that for sites like Odesk and Elance, you are more looking to hire people for jobs you specifically need. So you will post a job stating what you want.

    The warriors for hire section is the best place to look in my opinion. Lots of options, and lots of reviews.
