Amazon Store: Pages or Posts?

Hello Warriors,
I've decided to try my hand at building an Amazon Affiliates Store.
I've purchased a domain, set up hosting, and uploaded WordPress. My question is this: From an SEO standpoint is it better to use "pages" or "posts" on my site?
Is it a matter of the content my site will provide?
My goal is to build this site into an authority site for this particular niche. Thus, I'm guessing it will be in the neighborhood of 20+ original pages/posts.
