What is the best seo strategy after Google Penguin update?

Suppose if we are targeting high competitive keyword then from now how we have to approach.

If we write one unique article and try to post it to 15 article directories like goarticles, amazines etc, will Google take it as spam from now.

What is the best strategy to do article submission after Google Penguin Updation?

Web 2.0 Blogs are working well for me recently, with a few (2-3 a week) high PR links. Guest blogging is always a reliable way of building High Quality, Relevant links. Just try and keep everything unique and avoid using automated software

The best SEO strategy for the last 2 years has been QUALITY over QUANTITY.

Whether you create high pr backlinks through some sort of tier structure, or you buy high pr domains outright. You need quality backlinks to get anywhere in the SERPS for mid-high competition keywords.

Social media, specifically Google Plus. It is the only way I'm ranking now, and the more I focus on it, the better I'm ranking.

Here's what's been working for me wonderfully.

    1.Creation lots of quality content
    2.Relevant quality links
    3.Anchor text diversification

    Over and over again...

PS. For my anchor text, I use lots of different medium-high search volume long tail keywords. I tend to rank easier for many many keywords.

Same here...OK maybe not QUALITY content, but content none-the-less...LOL!

    Do this:
1 - seo your website (sef,divebase,.....) and then check your design seo score with online checking seo tools
2 - write article in your site about your desired keywords
3 - go to forums and blog and share your skills in them

Before Penguin and Panda, I had a lot of success just mass linking my sites to death. Even directly at the money pages worked. I was ordering blasts from services here on the Warrior Forum and ranking a lot of keywords successfully. (surprised to see them still so popular. It's sad to see the high quantity services doing so much better than the ones that offer a few links, but are valuable).

After Penguin, my best site that I actually linked to manually and got high PR, authority links from survived. The site domain is now a PR3 with a high trust rank and almost 2 years old.

My new sites that I'm ranking #1 on Google come from a few social bookmarks shortly after the launch, a facebook page, twitter page, and a homepage contextual link from my PR3 site above. That's it. Less than 20 links total and it just shoots up to the top.

Albeit this is a low comp keyword, but the lesson for me is to get high PR links from high trust rank domains.

Any blasts of spammy links are just diluting the strength of your quality links. This is not something i know for sure, but something I noticed when I built two sites on the same day. Both received only a single link from my PR3 site. Both were contextual links on the homepage, except that one received another link in the footer of the site (which essentially put a link on all 300+ pages/posts throughout the entire site).

The one that received the homepage + footer link moved to a PR1 after the recent PR update. The one with only the homepage link moved to a PR3. It also ranked much stronger overall than the first one.

I'm starting to think the only way is community, build a site people keep coming back to. It seems that’s the best strategy these days.

well unique quality content is always great. Also the best SEO strategy might ironically be to focus on other traffic sources than SEO . It is getting tricky out there
