Hello Warriors !

From today I start to build Micro Niche blog and gonna rank it.

Let's see What I did.

I researched and got 3 keywords that have 1000-3000 Exact US searches. Low Competition and $2+ CPC.

Paid Freelancer to Write 10-20 articles on that niche.

And Just few mins ago, Bought Domain and Hosting.

Then, I will update the articles to blog when i got.

After that Waht should I do?
I mean, Link building ?

For firrst week what should i do?
for second week? and then..

Pls advise me :confused::confused::confused:

Congrats! You are doing what 99% of others DON'T do - you're taking the first step. It seems like you're on the right track. I'd spread out the content a bit. (Don't upload it all at once.) This way, Google & other search engines can see that your site is frequently being updated with new content.

Other than that, just start looking for backlink sources. Quality over quantity, IMO. There are a TON of threads here related to backlinking strategies. Find one, follow it, and good luck.

I was going to write up a really long post on how to go about ranking these, but frankweerasinghe already posted an awesome guide to do just this a week or so ago. Here is the link:

True. That's a VERY important point.

I'd, at the very least, grab Traffic Travis (free) and analyze the top 10 competition.

How did you determine it was "low competition"? Way too many people get this bit wrong and find out they actually chose a very competitive keyword/s.

First week just add 2 content

third week same like second week (+10 backlink in homepage + 10 backlink your other article and 20 backlink to your new article ).
forth week same like second wee (+10 backlink in homepage + 10 backlink your other and 20 backlink to your new article )

I don't really agree with the poster saying you take the step that 99% of the others are not doing as that is exactly what 99% of the warriors ARE doing. Buy hosting, get a domain, get content.

    But then....

Yeah then it becomes hard cause the sites need to rank, keywords turn out to be too tough, keywords are not profitable enough. Even if all is well then people think: Hell what is this $10/month, what a waste of time, and that is where 99% falls off and 1% remains cause they have a long term business vision.

So try to stick through even when it's hard at time and don't bother to start over with a new site when you did all you could and there is no traction, in that case you probably chose to tough keywords and should refine your kw research skills.

Anyway, good luck with it, everyone can make money with IM, and even a lot but you have to bite into it like a pitbull and not let go.

Never give up and always keep on learning!

Most just sit around and read "strategies" here & elsewhere. I'll be few actually pick a niche, get hosting & a domain set up, and hire someone to write content. I know it doesn't seem like it, but that's a pretty big first step.

        Quiet amazing.

First 99 out of 100 don't even take the hosting/domain/content step
Next 99 out of 100 fail to rank / make money after that 1st step

So we have 0.01% that becomes a successful IM'er.

Might not even be that far off indeed

Funny enough I was chatting with someone lately who wanted to promote some Clickbank stuff and thought it was quiet competitive cause many IM'ers were targetting it. However what he didn't realize is that it's actually no competition at all, 9 out of 10 clickbank products are insane easy to rank. It's just that the conversion is so immens poor. But it does show how many people fail, they setup some blog, rank it somewhere at page 2 or 3 and kind of give up, and yes then it looks like the first pages are FULL of competition but it's no competition.

Little strategy of how I would do it, build links that you can get for free:

    - web2.0
    - doc sharing
    - article directories like ezines and some other top ones (forget about blasts with AMR)
    - post at relevant forums
    - write a pressrelease submit it to free sites
    - make relevant blogcomments (not automated, add value)
    - offer guest posts (not always easy to get accepted)
    - make some profiles like Youtube / Facebook / Twitter (helps a little)

Then once you reach bottom of page 1 you can't keep on redoing the same thing over and over so then you have 2 choices:

1: Strengthen the links that you builded
2: Rent links or buy incontext links (as in offer webmasters money for a link)

But before you start to do that you calculate how much your site makes at the bottom of page 1, if it makes you $5/month there then you can expect to make $50+/month when you reach the top 3. So then you could say: Okay I rent 2 real strong links for let's say $10/month to move me up. If the site makes $1/month at the bottom, then you could try to add more content or ditch the site and start something new. Cause it's not really worth to spend a lot of money to make $10/month at it's top.

After some time you get a better feeling for it and then you don't have to reach the bottom of page 1 to know that you'll make $50 or $100/month from that site when you reach the top 3. So then you can speed up the process.

BTW: I've seen many sites move from page 2 or page 3 to position #2 or #3 with a single PR4 link.
