Can I use scrapebox to find articles/content to rewrite?

I definitely don't want to "steal" anything here. But I want a way to get say 100-200 pages of content fast. I thought about using plr, but can not find plr for the niche I'm in (basement waterproofing).

I figure if I just sit down with good content by my side, I can use it as a guide to write better content, but fast. Mainly to avoid writers block and save time.

Right now I'm writing a couple articles every other day on various blogs (mainly blogsplot), then linking them to my website. I'm noticing this is helping my rankings a lot, but I can sometimes kill 1 hour just writing a single 500-700 word article.

I was using scrapebox before to locate relevant sites, then I decided to copy their content into msword. So then I open a second msword window, and asked myself "is this ok?" I mean it has to be as long as I'm not directly copying their work right? If I steal their topics to write about, but just do it better, thats fine right?

Does anyone else do this?

thanks - Red

ps. feel free to throw in ideas about how you write quality content fast.

I may take whatever content is on a client's website (in a niche I know little about). I look in Ezinearticles for the top 3 or 4 articles on a very narrow topic (Like "changing the oil in your car"). I read the articles, combine the paragraphs, so that the article is more informative than any one of the originals, and re-write each sentence on Magic Article Rewriter.
I'll write 4 different sentences for each original. And in the original, I'll spin a few words. This way no complete sentence is from an original source.

If you spin each individual sentence, you can get a real 90% spin or better. This takes a little practice, so the paragraphs all sound natural and of high quality. Each spun article I send to about 1,000 article sites and blogs (I own the blogs and many of the article sites. Just for me). I hand submit to the top 5 article sites (all with a PR 5 or better). I link all the articles sent to these top 5 article pages.
Later I may throw some junk comment links to the article pages as well.

Each 600-700 word article takes about two hours from start to submitted.

I do it myself, but only because I enjoy it, and the quality is pretty high.

You could also just get a great article from Ezinearticles and write about the article. The is almost an entire rewrite, but a little shorter. You can also use a couple of quotes directly from the article. Be sure to include the author's box at the end (or at least this live link).

You can also just write a few paragraphs about an article, and then include their article (with author links). Any comments after will just make your page more original. Nobody will ever complain because you wrote about how wonderful their article was, including links and quotes from the article. I do this for myself, but my clients get articles that are "original" from me.

You take an hour to write a good article? Not bad, and I would think worth the effort.
Good luck, and I hope this helps.
