My AdSense account was disabled? help

Hello,

My brand new adsense account was disabled last night. I haven't made much money on it though. Im completely stunned and I just submitted my appeal. I have no idea why this could have happened.

ANYWAYS, what is very frustrating about this is we are getting ready to release a project online that could potentially bring some very serious daily traffic.

In the even that I can not get my AdSense account reinstated, what options would you folks recommend as a secondary option?

Thanks!

Create your own product, considering there's no exact replacement for Adsense.

Everything that tries to mimic Adsense is junk.

Also, don't fall for the $5 fiverr/Adsense account scams. Once your banned from Adsense your done, unless you setup a new registered business name with a unique tax ID.

Sorry to hear that, but by no means a major drama. (i've read some blogs of marketers getting accounts banned with tens of thousands of dollars outstanding)

So many affiliate programmes and ways to make money online: create your own product, clickbank, commission junction, CPA offers, provide a service, amazon, ebay. Not even the tip of the iceberg, sounds like you will figure it out,

Did they say the reason why you got banned?

I've since added 'speedyads' to my website. Still hoping AdSense will lift the ban.

Here is the exact e-mail I got:

      Hello,

With our advertising programs, we strive to create an online ecosystem that benefits publishers, advertisers and users. For this reason, we sometimes have to take action against accounts that demonstrate behavior toward users or advertisers that may negatively impact how the ecosystem is perceived. In your case, we have detected invalid activity on your site and your account has been disabled.

We're limited in the amount of information we can provide about your specific violation. We understand this can be frustrating for you, but we've taken these precautionary measures because intentional violators can use this information to circumvent our detection systems.

In some cases, publishers can make significant changes to correct the violation and are willing to comply with the AdSense program policies. For this reason, we offer an appeals process as an opportunity to work with you to resolve the issue. To help you with the process, we've created a list of the top reasons for account closure for you to review before submission at Top reasons for account closure - AdSense Help. Please be sure to provide a thorough analysis in your appeal, which you can submit at support.google.com/adsense/bin/request.py?contact_type=appeal_form and we will follow up accordingly.

Got a quick question (theoretically of course)

If somebody was banned from AdSense, could they get a new adsense going again if:

    - They created a new website with a new name/new domain name
    - They setup a new gmail account
    - Change local IP address from service provider (is this necessary?)
    - Change IP of my hosting server

In that event, would it be possible to start a new adsense account?

      Nope. See Yukon's post above.

It's not just your internet identity that's a giveaway. If your old Adsense account was a personal one, there is some leeway given in setting up a business account, but you need to prove everything is separate. Meaning business registration number, tax info and bank account. But having said that, your chances of getting another account are pretty much nil.

Thanks. Ya the old AdSense was a personal one. The new project we are getting ready to launch however is completely separate, and I was thinking about making it a LLC with a separate tax ID anyways. I guess aside from that, I would need a completely different hosting server? And a different checking account?

          Adsense Help

"4) I need a separate account for my business In this case, you may submit a new application. Please make sure that the account type (individual or business) and payee name are different from your original application, and ensure that you can accept payments to that payee."

A few things I get from that: You can apply, but that doesn't mean you will get what you want. And that last bit about payee names means you set up the account under your business name and you need a chequeing (I'm Canadian - checking for you Americans ) account in your business name as well.

To what extent they track you to find out if you're someone they've already banned? No idea. So you might go through the expense of setting up a company and a new bank account and have it be a waste of time and money.

And completely ignore the crazy advice of getting a new account via Fiverr.

I have a similar situation. My personal account was disabled.
Now I have registered a company with separate tax id, but company is registered under my name. When I register a business account, do they ask for my personal info? And if yes, can I provide different name? Will they verify under who is the companies owner?

Yeah, you can easily get a new adsense account if you set up a different company (actually register the company with the state and IRS). You can form a corporation or LLC and get a new tax ID by filling out form SS-4 with the IRS.

Be sure to use a different personal name, address, phone, bank account, tax ID number, everything. But that's not hard really.

But realize, you have to file taxes for that new entity.

Good to know, thanks. Ya I was planning on doing an LLC with this new startup anyways. I suppose I can get just put the LLC under my wife's name, and have her setup a checking account (I wonder if it has to be a business checking, or can it be a personal - probably doesn't matter?) to deposit funds into.

I will also have her setup a PO box too. I would imagine that would be it!

I was thinking about working with AdBrite too. Thanks for the help

And what about the website if it was disabled by adsense. Is it possible to ask adsense to review it, ever? Let's say, if I sold it to a new owner, with a clean history and adsense acount in a good standing. Will he be able to reinstate the website?

No, unfortunately that site is doomed forever. Move on there's nothing you can do.

You can get another adsense account. Go fiverr and many people will create an account for you.

Adsense account from Fiverr? What a boneheaded advice.

Even if you "somehow" get one, it is only a matter of very short time before it will get banned again.

That's one of the saddest thing to hear if you're into adsense.

With my years in the business, I have heard different stories already, people getting banned and wasn't able to recover them forever. There are others who found ways by having their immediate family members (usually in a different address) sign up for another one.

What I can suggest here is not to put all your eggs in one basket.

There's a lot of opportunities online - adsense is just one of the channels.

    Explore, learn, implement, expand.
