Youtube video ranking?

Is it just me or does ranking youtube videos seem to be slow? I added a bunch of links to a video pinged them, web2.0 and a week later video has not moved, up or down. Does youtube only re rank videos once a month or something? Use to be able to rank videos well now I do not have a clue!

    Usually i create a video with proper title with low comp. keywords and it is on 1st page of google within next couple days.

      YT videos are usually pretty easy to rank. Just put your keywords in the title, description, and the video filename itself. Throw some decent backlinks at it and you're good to go. (As long as you're going after low(ish) competition phrases.)

    Popular videos on Youtube gain higher rankings. However, you have to ensure that you are using correct TITLE, DESCRIPTION for your Video otherwise, it would be too difficult for Youtube to display your video whenever someone makes a search.

    However, if you are planning to target highly competitive keywords then you have to wait for a couple of months [1-2 months] before your video can actually start to show on Youtube search.

      A successful video can be run if you have created attractive title of the video what peoples are looking for. For example you are promoting a "weight loss" through youtube then your video title should be look like this.

      How to reduce weight
      How to lose unwanted fat.
      How to get rid from fat.

    Put targeted keyword in title, description, tags, throw lots of views to it, post it as a response video, some comments as well. And you will see a magical change in ranking. Cheers!

    I am having the same problem too.

    However I noticed my videos rank really well on google.com which is unfortunately no good for me as they need to rank well on google.co.uk.

    I have even tried getting youtube videos uk views and yes my videos are geo tagged.

    Is something changing re ranking on google.co.uk as I have been following a good wso course on it (cant remember the name....was a couple of months ago).

    I do have videos ranked on page one but they move very slowly. I find at the start of a video seo campaign a video will shoot up at least 4 or 5 pages then just get stuck or move up only one position at a time.

    I use only youtube views, onlywire, senukex and bruteforce seo on all my videos.

    Is there anything else I can use?
